CityU Eminence Society – The 6th Exco Meeting and Dinner with new Council Chairman of CityU

The CityU Eminence Society (CES) 6th Exco Meeting was held on 5 Mar 2018 at “Tai Mo Shan”, 6/F., Sha Tin Clubhouse, JC. Moreover, we had invited the new Council Chairman Mr. Lester G Huang and Prof. Kuo Way (President, CityU) for welcoming dinner. We took a group photo before start of the meeting.

We discussed the membership development and coming activities such as visit to Veterinary Diagnostic Lab in campus and new vet clinic with advanced facilities, etc.

After the meeting, Mr. Lester G Huang arrived.

Before dinner, we took a group photo with Mr. Lester G Huang and Prof. Kuo Way for memory.

In the beginning, Dr. Gary Cheng (Chairman, CES) gave a welcome speech and introduce our new Council Chairman Mr. Lester G Huang to us.

Then Gary presented our CES Inauguration book to Lester. We expected Lester to have more understanding our mission and members’ background.

In the break, Mr. Lester G Huang gave speech and shared his vision to us. He said many great achievements in CityU hadn’t announced to public. We needed to talk to others and CES members were our ambassadors.

After that Mr. Lester G Huang and Prof. Kuo Way exchanged their position and shared with us. We took a photo with Lester. He had a long vision that our animal school was only starting. Hong Kong doctor shortage was criteria, only HKU and CUHK were not enough. In future, we needed to have the third medical school.
