HKQF the 6th TIC-ITAC Meeting

The 6th meeting of Testing, Inspection & Certification Industry Training Advisory Committee (TIC-ITAC) under Hong Kong Qualification Framework (HKQF) was held on 2 Jun 2015. I was honor to be assigned as one of members in TIC-ITAC again from 1st Jan 2015 to 31st Dec 2016. All members took a group photo for memory.

During the reporting, the Specification of Competency Standards (SCS) was completed and different sub-committees worked in-progress including “Education and Training”, “Promotion and Consultation”, “Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)” and “Award Scheme for Learning Experiences”. Mr. Patrick Pang (GM, Qualification Framework Secretariat) told us that the Technical Alignment of Hong Kong Qualification Framework (HKQF) and European Qualifications Framework (EQF) had preparing and would take industry consultation in this year.

We are all looking forward the HKQF to help and enhance the recognition of TIC industry in near future.
